Tudore is an amazing musician with whom I write and record songs. He is also the bass player in our band, Power Forward, and plays bass for me during my Monstalung shows. Our latest release, titled “Righteous,” is our first collaboration of many; in fact, it’s the last song we recorded together, although we have a few other songs completed.
Tudor initially wanted to add more instruments to this track, but I suggested we keep it simple. I felt that we didn’t have a song that showcased our performance style, which features me on digital drums and just his bass. I was really in love with the bassline he created and wanted it to stand out. So, we decided to keep it raw and straightforward.
