Power Forward and I performed for a benefit show called THAW, a mutual aid show for families affected by ICE. There were other bands and speakers there also, who all gave amazing performances and speeches. It was a much-needed night; the energy among artists and attendees was electric and inspiring
On a personal note, February was been very tough for me, with many negative things happening at once, and I’ve been feeling stuck in a rut. However, this show helped me find my spark again. I recently shared a personal quote: “When it’s dark, use your passion to find the light.” That’s exactly what I did, and this show was a significant part of that process.use your passion to find the light”, and that’s exactly what I did, and this show was part of that process.
